Casio College fx-100

Brief History
Casio started production of a cheap scientific calculator specially designed for students, the College fx-80 in 1979, and almost a half year later, a new, not too expensive, easy-to-use scientific calculator with higher capacity was announced. The College fx-100 has a 10-digit LCD display instead of a 8-digit one, which can be set to 8+2 digit scientific notation. In addition to usual functions, it can perform operations with fractions and has a random number generator. Similar to fx-82 series, more variations developed in the next decades.
