Casio fx-7000G

Brief History
Researching of the liquid crystal display defined the direction of development in the calculator industry. Together with appearing of the full dot-matrix LCDs, new equipments were born in the 1980s: pocket computers, electronic dictionaries, diaries, quartz games etc. A brand new pocket computer was introduced to the Sharp-dominated market in 1983: the Casio PB-700 was the first to use graphic-oriented BASIC language. The next milestone was the fx-7000G in 1985: the world's first graphic calculator allowed to display user-entered functions on the rectangular coordinate system, or analyze these. Otherwise, this calculator was an extended version of the easy-to-use fx-4000P programmable calculator. Later, a full spectrum of graphic models were developed at Casio, ensured its domination in this segment of the calculator market for the next years.
