Mondimat ESR-83

Brief History
The french catalog store La Redoute in the 1970s expanded its range of products as the others did: more electronic appliances were introduced. Some calculators can be found in the catalogs with the brand Mondimat, a first in its own category, the ESR-83 has a NEC D1856 CPU and an Epson liquid crystal display with yellow filter as usual in its time. It is interesting that secondary functions are labelled under the corresponding keys. A bit redesigned interiors can be found in Technico’s ESR-83 which has the same origin as this.
