Qualitron 1437
Brief History
One of Taiwanese Qualitron’s stylish black-and-white colored, curved-shaped calculators was the 1437 basic model, which used General Instrument’s microchip. Qualitron have produced all kinds of pocket calculators with a similar look, from the simplest to the scientific or even programmable variations, which — thanks to their low price and good quality — have become popular all over the world. Later, the product range was expanded with thin, elegant metal-case calculators, and Qualitron made growing quantities of products for their OEM partners.
