Híradástechnika PTK-1050
Brief History
In 1977, Texas Instruments issued a line of programmable scientific calculators: the entry-level model (TI-55 and this italian equivalent, SR-51-II)
was taken over as PTK-1030, the most powerful TI-59 as PTK-1096 in 1978-79, and the third, middle-level model (TI-57) had been assembled
from 1980 as PTK-1050. This model was a very popular calculator which was produced until 1984. This type of calculator became the first official, country-wide
educational-purpose calculator for teaching computer technology and programming in the secondary schools, where computers were not available.
