Brother 408 Pro-Cal

Brief History
The Japanese company Brother appeared on the domestic market in 1966 with Calther brand digital desktop calculators. After the later models built from integrated circuits, following a path similar to other competitors, they appeared in 1972 with their first handheld calculator, the Pro-Cal 408, built from domestic components except for the American-made chip. This model brought great success to the company not only in Japan, but also in the United States and Europe, thus keeping the "lucky number" of 408, development and production of smaller and smaller versions that actually fit in your pocket began.
