Texas Instruments TI-57 II

Brief History
Texas Instruments introduced the classic TI-57 in 1977, the middle-class member of the programmable calculator family. The easy-to-use model which can be used for solving several common problem, was redesigned in 1983: the old-style LED display has been replaced by a liquid crystal display, so the machine could be used with two button cell batteries, and has a continuous memory which can retain the memory contents upon power-off. The new materials used in the new keyboard became unusable in months, so the TI-57 LCD was replaced by the TI-57-II with rubber membrane keyboard in 1984. Both new models have much lower memory area, so only smaller programs or less numbers can be stored in these machines compared to the classic TI-57.

This model was produced in Hungary too, by Híradástechnika Szövetkezet in 1985.
