Omron 8SM
Brief History
Japanese electronic manufacturer Omron had bought licences for producing Hitachi's calculator circuits, and creates several models using that chip. The HD36261 can be found in the 8M, 8SM and 8PM which, or in the 88M and 89M models.
Some of them can display only floating point numbers, but some can be switched to fixed decimal or adding machine mode too. Omron produces most of their calculator in more color variations (yellow, orange and white).
