Test Results of Scientific Calculators
While almost all of four-function calculators - within their precision range - are performing operations
with the same method, the iterative calculation techniques used in scientific calculators are quite different,
so we can measure and compare these machines.The trigonometry test - the three generally available trigonometric function: sin, cos, tan - used the above formula with angles defined in degrees: sin-1(cos-1(tan-1(tan(cos(sin(60°)))))). If the calculator cannot handle degrees, or cannot calculate the answer, a hyphen stands in place of the result. All results correspond to the internal precision of the machine, so the displayed result usually differs.

In the exponential test we can calculate the exponential function ex, where x is near 1: 0.999160000. If the calculator cannot calculate the answer, or displays a zero, a hyphen stands in place of the result. All results correspond to the internal precision of the machine, so the displayed result usually differs.
